Your EMF Account Explained
Joy4u.com runs a Kick Back account programme exclusive to Subscribers. We call this an Education Matched Funds account (EMF).
How does it work?
- 4% of a Subscribers net spend on business opportunies (such as MOROCCANOIL or inkomfe) with us is put into their EMF account which accumulates every month.
- Subscribers can deduct Education Purchases (such as Delegate Fees for Joy4u events) by up to 50% using their EMF account.
- Example: if the Delegate fee is £200, and the Subscriber has £150 in their EMF account, they could reduce the Delegate fee by up to 50%, to £100, leaving them with £50 in their EMF account.
How does a Subscriber use it?
To help get you started with your EMF Account, here is a detailed walk-through of how you can use and manage the account.
For the purposes of this walk through, the images below show me logged in with a test account "Subscriber" and a "dummy" EMF account. Remember that yours as a Subscriber is live and fully functional! Of course, when you are logged in, your username will be in place of "subscriber".
1 - New Link in Navigation
Once logged in, on the right hand side of the website there is a new link "My EMF Account". Below is a screen shot of the Navigation menu showing this.

2 - My EMF Account
Once you click the new link "My EMF Account", you will be taken to your transaction history page (a screen shot is below). On the test information below, you can see that we have added some money to the EMF Account. As we update your EMF account monthly, the transaction will be recorded on this page as an administrator transaction:

3 - New Features at 'My Account'
Note that if you click on 'My Account' from the Navigation menu, you can see your EMF Account Balance here as well:

4 - Using your EMF account
Using the EMF Account is straight forward and is executed with only one extra panel on the Checkout page of the website.
Once you have added products to your shopping cart as usual, such as the Booking Form for Touchstone Events and inkomfe or MOROCCANOIL products, you then click 'Checkout' to pay for your items as usual.
At the bottom of the Checkout page, there is a new Panel called "EMF Account Discount". This small panel will add up the order line items that are eligible for the EMF discount (Education Purchases). It will tell you the maximum amount that the order can be discounted by and it will also remind you of your EMF account balance. It is here where you can specify how much of your EMF Account Balance that you would like to discount the order by. Here is an example of the new EMF Checkout Panel below. You can see that in the example I have opted to discount the maximum amount:

Next you complete the order and payment in the normal way.
5 - Review Transaction History
For the purposes of this walk through, I have 'checked-out' and purchased one Delegate on a Touchstone Event. I used my EMF Account to discount the total.
Once you successfully check-out, you can see the transaction by clicking the new link in the Navigation Menu "My EMF Account". You can see from the example below that I have successfully spent some of my dummy EMF Account!

I hope this walk through has been helpful. If you have any more questions, please call us here at the office on 01296 620 555.
